We thoroughly enjoyed this year’s Wayspring Summit and the opportunity to connect in person with our colleagues. It was a meaningful time to come together, celebrate our achievements from the past year, and look ahead to 2025.
The theme, “Innovation at Wayspring,” centered our Summit around topics that sparked our shared passion for pushing the boundaries of innovation, challenging the status quo, and inspiring our partners to think differently as we work together to improve care for our members.
Highlights included:
- Carter’s Windows 95-inspired grand entrance and motivating comments about our member-centric mission and insights into the financial growth and aspirations of our organization
- A heartwarming patient testimonial
- A feel-good round up of the incredible stats and accomplishments each of you contributed to
- A keynote speech from award-winning Chef Sean Brock, where he shared his personal journey to recovery
- A leadership panel discussion with Tanya, Frazer, Beth, and Dr. Frost providing insight into how our innovation here at Wayspring is driving momentum with our health plan partners, members, and the medical community.
- A session on Network Solutions (formerly Network Value Management) led by Troy, highlighting how this new offering will strengthen the performance of substance use and behavioral health networks, ultimately ensuring our members receive the best possible care
- A dive into AI led by Danny, exploring how it works, its implications in healthcare and how we’re using it here at Wayspring
- Recognition of outstanding employees through well-deserved awards. (Which is so important it has its own newsletter feature!)
