Significant Marketing and Communications Changes Coming – Early 2025

The Marketing and Communications team is pleased to inform you of significant changes to Wayspring’s web presence and messaging that will be implemented in early 2025.

These changes are designed to improve communication among all audiences and position our organization for continued growth.

What’s changing?

  • New Member Microsite: MyWayspring.com will be a dedicated space for members, offering tailored information and resources. (Launch date to be announced later).
  • Refreshed Wayspring.com: Our main website will be revamped for health plans, providers, partners, and job seekers. (Members will find a link back to MyWayspring.com.)
  • Clearer Messaging: We’re refining how we communicate who we are, what we do, and how we help. Key changes include:
    • New Tagline and Message Framework
      • We are refining how we communicate what we do to ensure alignment across audiences. This will have implications for member talk tracks, marketing materials, and our web presence.
    • Updated Terminology:
  • We will retire the term “Wayspring Clinic.” (This is due to abundant feedback that many members negatively associate “clinic” with methadone clinics.) Instead, integrated care and support will be described as provided onsite, telephonically, and virtually. (We are actively reworking this verbiage. Stay tuned for more details.)
  • Member-facing staff will be referred to as “care team members” externally.
    • If further distinction is required, use “Engagement Manager/Specialist” or appropriate clinical titles.
    • Further title distinctions (e.g., FES, COS, MOS) are to be reserved for internal use only.

Note that we will work with outreach teams to appropriately address this change in member talk tracks.

Bandwidth Considerations

With these initiatives underway, the Marketing and Communications team will be focused on implementation through January 2025. We ask that non-urgent requests be deferred until February and that additional lead time be allowed for any ongoing requests.

Next Steps

The Marketing and Communications will reach out to certain teams to collaborate on specific elements of these efforts.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we work through these important updates.
